The Dimensions Process
Step 1 Use the Dimensions tool
To rate the impact or frequency of each Dimension for yourself or the person you are supporting.
Step 2 Get your Dimensions Profile
The tool will have produced a personalised profile that identifies your or the person’s strengths and where support would be of benefit.
Step 3 Get information and support
To help identify where you or the person you are supporting may benefit from needs-led support.
The support information provides trusted information about, local services, national support and resources such as videos, apps and books.
Step 4 Discuss your concerns with someone who can support you.
You or the person supporting you, could choose to share the profile with a professional or someone who supports you, who may be able offer further support.

Visual guides
We have developed an animation to introduce the Dimensions of Health and Wellbeing, along with a series of visual guides that explain the benefits of using Dimensions and how to use it effectively. These guides support users to create and understand their profile, use the information flyers to find support, and learn how Dimensions can benefit children, families and schools.
